George Takei is an amazing person. Successful actor.
Japanese American who survived the Japanese-American civilian internment
camps/prisons in the 1940’s. Retired now he speaks his mind on many current
events and issues. Here’s one that is thought provoking:
“Hobby Lobby is not a church.
It’s a business. Businesses must and should be required to comply with
neutrally crafted laws of general applicability…We are a nation that respects
religious beliefs, but also the right not to have those beliefs imposed upon
you by others.”
Think about that this weekend. Wonder how this matter could
have been handled differently. And better.
