Letting Life Happen

It washes over us. The experiences. Happenings. People. Connections.

Routines get us through the day, but meaning beckons from the ebb and flow of happenings around us. Why are those important? What is it that makes them vibrate our senses? Our awareness?

Which of these do we retain? Use later in making sense of the larger ‘what’? And then how do we use those to organize thoughts, plans and our forward reach?
Futures happen on their own seemingly; but they require participation whether conscious or not. How intended they are relies on our planning, understanding and wanting things to become the way we want them to be. We can build future. Consciously.

How well do I do this? How well do you do this?

That is the personal dimension. But what of group dimension?

Allowing our minds to merge in an exercise of imagining the future. Letting those ideas percolate, bubble to the surface. Catching the excitement, our joint creativity pictures what is possible.

Continue the mash of ideas….as they begin to form even newer ones. Let the dream form, clearer, clearer…..until the group’s aha!

What has formed? What unique image piques our hope? What can we make happen that will address our needs and those near and dear?

Sleep on it. Let it settle. Clear the air of unrealistic hopes. Allow the core to throb its meaning, its possibility.

With fresh air and energy, see what actions the group can and will take to give life to the hope. Will it spell our future? Will it teach us what we need to know? To feel? To touch the future?
