Yikes! Friday the 13th!

Beware! Unless, of course, such superstitions don’t phase you. Mostly they don’t for me. So, on with my blather.

I’m concerned about mr. trump and his personal insistence to counteract every comment on the news, every move of anyone who can be counted as an enemy or competitor of his. Not of our nation, but of him. Somehow this is very personal to him.

Mr. Mueller was appointed to do a job. So far it is evident he is doing it very well. Methodically, systematically, within the parameters and protocols of the justice system. This is a system designed to protect all parties. The accused and the innocent are protected in this system. It does not work perfectly all of the time, but that is mostly due to lesser authorities with partial experience.

The system is designed to protect the innocent even from mistakes. Decisions are reviewable, appealable and can be reversed. Not a pretty sight, such operations, and the time lost to do them is horrid for those falsely accused and imprisoned.

All the more reason that an investigation involving the president be carefully administered. Mueller knows this. An army of judges and courts await appeals he hopes to avoid as the people await justice for them and their system of governance.

We honor and elevate the value of the US Constitution. It is the rule book by which we live. The system of justice in the US is devised to keep trust with the Constitution. The protocols and procedures through police departments, sheriff departments, courts throughout the nation are so ruled. By the Constitution. It guarantees, warranties and protects; the guilty and the innocent; as well the society that embraces it.

The rule of law is that important. Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness require we remain disciplined and vigilant to maintain the system that guarantees all of our rights.

Games are played by people who wish to cheat the system. They win all too many times. The rest of us lose because of that. In time, however, the people catch up and deliver justice. The game players will be found out. The consequences delivered upon them will be meted out judiciously.

Best to not play games. The gain is not worth the loss from consequences. One of those consequences is living and waiting through the process that manages the accusation of wrong doing. Yes, it is long. Yes, it is detailed. Yes, it includes many phases we don’t readily understand. But that can be avoided by not indulging oneself in game playing.

Mr. trump, do you hear that? Do you understand? Take a deep breath and do your work. Best if you also abandon Twitter and communicate through traditional methods. Let your staff help you. Follow protocols that have been created to keep things ordered, understandable and digestible. They are proven. You will be glad you did follow them.

I doubt this message will get through to the appropriate parties. Too bad. The result is more nonsense, fake news from those who claim others are creating it, and bad tempers.

Haven’t we all had enough of this?

PS: Keep out of trouble folks; lets not tempt the fates of the 13th!
