Maya Angelou’s commemorative postage stamp was messed up by
the US Postal Service. Sad but true. The stamp was designed using a quote from
another thinker. It was passed off as a Maya original.
Fans of Angelou are not easily misled. They Google her
writings everyday for a fresh reminder of her genius. And beauty.
She will be long remembered as a true asset of our nation’s
culture.
